‼️Peak Week: What am I eating ⁉️
Today is my first carb up day, so what is changing?
The past 38-39 weeks that I've been dieting (except two peak weeks and a holiday in Valencia), I've based my foods around volume and satiety. So fibrous veg, lots of rice cakes and a whole lot of oats.
The next couple of days we don't want to change too much, but food volume is not the goal so a few alterations have been made to take fibre out and to hit over 300g carbs. #
I know by now from previous peak weeks what my body likes in terms of carbs and what reacts the best for digestion as I do suffer from IBS. So...
👉🏼Of course we still have snackajacks 'cos obsessed.
👉🏼White skinless potatoes - taking the skin off to reduce fibre 👉🏼White bread & Jam - a tough call between this and bagels but we still wanted some volume so I don't eat my arm inbetween meals
👉🏼Cereal - simple carbs and a cheap source when shopping in Asda 😂
👉🏼Greek Yoghurt - I've been eating yoghurt the whole prep and know this is easy for me to eat
👉🏼Egg whites & BBQ Sauce - I've lived off this combo for months. If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
