Anemone / ã¢ãã¢ã
When I go to flower shops, I really take my time to see what came in fresh, what's in season, what looks new, what smells different, and what looks peculiar. So naturally I chose this anemone because it looked peculiar and I couldn't not take it home with me. This anemone looks like it's growing a sea anemone inside!!!
The name Anemone is derived from the Greek word Anemos which means wind, and sea anemones were named after the anemone flower from how they are as colorful as the flower and look like it with their flowing tentacles. So I find it so odd and wonderful that this flower somehow holds both the terrestrial and aquatic Anemone in it. It's just so beautiful and mesmerizingâ¤ï¸
