One thing we hear a lot from Women when it comes to lifting is ‘I don’t want to get bulky!’.
Lifting will not make you bulky. Case and point, Joy has trained 4-6x per week for the past year, 3 of those days consisting of heavy lifting, and other days consisting of conditioning and accessory work in the way of circuits with bodyweight or lighter lifts. She eats a variety of protein, vegetables and carbs 4-6 x per day, and allows herself treats. Ladies, lifting will not make you ‘bulky’. Lifting, along with a nutritious diet will help you lose body fat, gain strength, build confidence, become more defined, and feel fantastic.
